What does it mean to be a good citizen?
A good citizen is a someone who values their rights and also the rights of others. They must respect others rights. You Should also be aware of your responsibilities. The definition of a responsibility is the expectation that you will take care of certain things, or perform duties. One example, of a good citizen is that they should register to vote, or stay informed on what's going on in the world. Another example, of a good citizen is that you must pay taxes, and obey the laws. The definition of a right is things that you are allowed to do because of nature, or because of law. In conclusion, a good citizen is someone who follows the laws, and also is responsible.
What do you think is the most effective style of Goverment and why?
The most effective style of government is representative democracy because people are happier when they have a say in the government but they don't have it do it directly. In the US people are part of a democracy but they elect representatives to makes laws and be part of the daily process of government.The representatives agree on a constitution that states all the laws and outlines the rule of law, separation of power, and rights of minority. In Ancient Greece, each citizen had to go to every meeting and vote on every law. Representative democracy gives people rights and privileges through the representatives and people are eager to have those privileges. So people do their responsibilities gladly like voting. In conclusion, representative democracy is the most effective form of government.
