Summarizing two important battles:
Battle of Anzio - January to June 1944
It was a battle of the Italian Campaign of World War II with the Allied amphibious landing known as Operation Shingle with the capture of Rome. The operation was opposed by German forces in the area of Anzio and Neptune.
Battle of Monte Cassino - January to May 1944

One important person is Adolf Hitler - The leader of Nazi Germany: His importance in WWII was being the dictatorial leader of the nazi party. Hitler became Chancellor of Germany in 1933 and quickly transformed Germany into a totalitarian fascist state which was a huge part of what started WWII and kept it going,
Compare & Contrast: WWI +WWII
World war one and World war two were very different. To start with the causes of WWI was nationalism, militarism, secret alliances, imperialism and industrialization as the causes of WWII were the Treaty of Versailles, failure of the league of nations, appeasement, and economic depression. But they weren't two different as nationalism, imperialism, militarism & alliances was also a cause of WWII and not just WWI so they shared that. And that's not the only thing they share because they both entered the U.S on German U-Boats, not to mention during war they used a bunch of weapons that were just invented around the time of each war. But the effects of each war are very different and have no relations at all, the effects/outcomes of WWI was part of how WWII started such as the Treaty of Versailles, League of nations (which failed), & appeasement. The effects of WWII was communism & Cold war.
Three cause of WWII:
Three causes of world war II… World war II wasn't a very long war it was from 1939-1945. There were many causes of World War 2 some pretty big causes to be honest. Three examples of the three causes were fascism, hitler and nazi party, and treaty of versailles There were many more causes but that list would go on forever. Fascism was very important and impacted on world war 2. Fascism was an authorization and nationalistic a system of government and social organization. Fascism caused world war 2 by fascism was an ideology which glorified the military, considered war an acceptable means for achieving national goals, and un announced international organizations and cooperation. Hitler and the nazi party lead to world war 2 in many differents ways. Two ways were hitler being the most powerful leader in germany so he lead everyone to follow his orders. He kept taking over areas of europe once he invaded poland britain and france declared war on him. Hitler took over france like it was nothing.. Treaty of versailles humiliated the Germans so Germany was forced into giving up territories and was not aloud to field army. Then when adolf hitler rose to power he wanted to restore Germany’s former glory. They were forced to pay huge reparations.
