It would be the beginning of a series of lunch counter sit-ins, marches on city hall and boycotts on downtown merchants to protect segregation laws in the city.

The goal of Birmingham riots goal was to bring attention to the interrogation efforts, and to allow African American to have equal rights, such as letting A.A's be able to go to the same school as Caucasian and be treated in equality in Birmingham, Alabama and across the world

martin Luther King, Jr was a huge impact on the Birmingham riots because he was sharing a way to express how A.A felt and what they wanted without making things worse. MLK was a huge impact on multiple events this one especially because he was the voice the people needed to hear.

This Event made it so minorities are more expected in society than before
