MIS Spirit Week INfo
The office staff would like your help in recognizing our staff. Please take a few moments and use the link below to provide some encouragement to those folks that are making a major difference in your child's future. These comments can be anonymous, or you can provide your name. The office staff will use the provided comments every Thursday for our #thankfulThursday movement. The attached form can be completed, as little or often as you like, throughout the entire school year. We appreciate your support in growing the culture of gratitude that already exists at MIS!!

"Thanks to Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. (Katie) Smith who both wished my son a happy birthday during Google Hangouts last week. One class even sang happy birthday to him. It was a big surprise to him especially since didn’t get to celebrate much this year being quarantined."
End of year/lockers, etc
The honest answer is we don't know... However, we do know that we made plans early for medicine and medical necessities and other items were considered non-essential. Until the Governor's stay at home order is lifted, this will remain the plan.
It appears schools are in phase 2 of the Governor's plans to re-open the state, and we have yet to enter phase 1of this plan.
We promise this is not how we wanted to end our school year, and we have been brainstorming ideas to get items back to students along with many other things. However, until the Governor makes the decision to lift the stay at home order regarding schools and gives us our limitations (number of people that can be near each other, etc.), we are spinning our wheels to share plans for such an event. Once we have the details we need and a have a plan, we promise we will push it out to parents via this newsletter, email, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, teacher Remind....
*All schedules are subject to changes in response to recommendations from the Indiana Department of Education
To make scheduling less confusing, Related Arts teachers are assigning all work on Monday with a due date of Friday. Students may work on these assignments at any time during the week.
