Sherri Rangel I'm a mother, wife, student, judicial SPECIALIST and photographer

My family is my world! Day to day I balance my time between my two children, home, school and work. Gabriel is 13 years old and Jaelyn is 9. Between soccer, guitar, gymnastics and swimming; it takes our time, but it's worth it. I love all the extra activities because I firmly believe that the one thing no one can ever be able take away from you is something that you have learned.

For the last 10 years I have worked for the Lakewood Municipal Court. Lakewood Municipal Court has honorable value to the public. Lakewood does not just punish a defendant for their crime or violation of the law; Lakewood provides help, resources, mandates class and/or other services. I believe Lakewood encourages defendants to learn from their mistake and lessens the likelihood for them to reoffend.

The city of Lakewood is the primary reason I returned to college. After a very long day in court and with the help of my supervisors encouragement I knew I was ready for something more. Although, I'm grateful for my position in court, I believe Public Administration or management is the next step for me. I must admit that every class at Front Range Community College makes me nervous. Although, I'm eager to learn the concepts; I fear I won't be able to keep up with the work load. Over the past year, I have only taken online courses because of my busy lifestyle. I'm interested in Microeconomics because I would like to compare it to Macroeconomics and use the concepts in our current economy. (The picture below was taken on "Take Your Child to Work" Day)

Another point I should make is my INSANE love for travel. Although, I have only been to a handful of places; I absolutely love to talk, hear and think about traveling. Hearing others experiences and stories makes me happy because it reminds me just how big the world really is. (The pictures below were taken at The Grand Canyon, San Antonio, Colorado Springs, South Beach Miami and Boston)
