JEJU ISLAND One of the seven wonders of the Ocean

Jejudo Island or Jeju Island is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ocean.

Jeju island is also a great vacation spot with many hotels and a warm climate.

This is one of the many ponds and pools located on the Island

Some sides are rocky while others are sandy beaches.

The Island is around 700sq miles in land mass. It has almost 1,000 volcanoes and is home to the tallest mountain, Hallasan, in South Korea.

Jejudo Island(Jeju) is located off the coast of South Korea. It is home to over 500,000 people. It also has many species of animals including wild bears and horses. Around 75 years ago the province of Jejudo rebelled against South Korea. Korea executed whole villages at a time killing women and children. At the end of the war, Jeju island had lost, and over 30,000 people died. Decades later, a massacre grave was found near the Jejudo province airport. The island is about 700m2. Jeju was mainly formed by volcanic eruptions from about 2 million years ago.
