May Newsletter Sitzmarkers Ski and Social club

Above, 1/2 of our newest Associate Couple, Terry Whitener

We started off our month of April 2nd with a grand hike to the Taquitz Falls in Palm Springs. The water was flowing, wild flowers blooming. Shorts weather!. We hiked at our own pace and when we finished, headed off to a great Mexican Resturant. Several different Margs later, we headed home.

Next, the Board Nominations were held at the first General Meeting of the month. Thanks to all who attended. Bill Butler won the 50/50.

Next, Kim and Jack Richardson did an awesome job, on the last Mammoth Ski Trip of this season. There was snow, snow and more snow. There was at least one BLUEBIRD DAY.

APRIL 12 found our members at ANCHOS in Riverside. For DINE OUT. We filled a long table. More Margs, wine, beer, those warm fresh flour tortillas and our favorite entrees, made for a wonderful evening.

April 19 at the Elks Lodge, the club elections were held. Congratulations to Jack Richardson, who will succeed Craig Rothage as President. Chris Clautice will be Vice President, Marilyn Fischbeck will be Secretary, Vern Dalton will be Treasurer, Leslie Fisher Membership, Lori Butler Newletter, Kim Richardson Ski Trips, Jenny Miedema and Haide Heisig Social, Dean Schlax Publicity, and we currently have the Water Ski Trip position vacant.

Last event of April 2017 found us at Napoli's Italian Resturant for the Annual Board Installation Dinner. There were 23 of us, enjoying each other's good company. Not to mention the food and wine. The Board members received badges with our titles. Very nice! Thanks Leslie Fisher.
