The life cycle of a butterfly begins with the egg. Then the egg hatches and starts the stage of the larva. The larva forms a pupa and stays there for five to ten days. Then after several changes the adult butterfly comes out of the pupa and lives for only two weeks.

The proboscis help's the butterfly eat nectar. The wings help the butterfly fly where it needs to fly. The butterfly also has an abdomen thorax antennas a head and legs.

To make a butterfly garden you will need lotsh of flowers and dirt so the flowers can grow and make nectar. Then you need dirty water for butterflies to drink. That is what you need to make a butterfly garden.Now you can enjoy your butterfly garden!
