Tuesday... Disney vs. Nick
[Bottom left] Senior Kelly Krawczyk and junior Kaitlyn Lanz participate in “Disney vs. Nick” day by dressing up as Dipper Pines from “Gravity Falls” and Sully from “Monster’s Inc.” “Sully has been my favorite Disney character for forever, so I thought, ‘why not dress like him?’” Lanz said. Thursday... Throwback
Sophomore Julia Register participates in “Throwback Thursday” by carrying a Marie plush and wearing a Girl Scout vest. While most Throwback Thursdays encouraged participants to dress like another decade, students were instead asked to dress like they did in elementary or middle school. Photo by Sarena Wilkerson
Friday... Power Rangers

Tuesday, Nov. 2, SGA held the annual "Flick on the 50" in the San Momary Stadium, playing 1995's "Clueless." Picked by each class' eCampus page, students received popcorn and water with their $6 ticket. "It's my second year going to it, and I liked it a lot. It’s nice to bring your girlfriend or a couple friends with you," senior Jacob Hartman said.

Seniors win powderpuff game 17-7

Powderpuff, a flag football game in which the junior and senior girls face each other, is one of the biggest events students look forward to during homecoming week. On Wednesday, Nov. 3, these two grades did just that with the seniors pulling out a win towards the end of the game with a final score of 17-7. - Julia Sumpter, Opinions Editor

Homecoming Dance

Following the presentation of homecoming court, senior king Ryan Cedergren and queen Emma Haddad dance to Ed Sheeran's "Perfect." "I was very surprised, but I was actually really happy to win," Haddad said. "My mom was crying a lot and my dad was really happy for me." Meanwhile, onlookers like junior Thaddeus Elam celebrated the winners by swaying to the beat with their phones' flashlights on. "They were playing a very romanticized song for the king and queen's dance, and we were just making light of it," Elam said. Throughout the night, dancing together was a popular way to stay warm, as temperature were in the 50s. "I was cold so I beat the cold with wearing a jacket and dancing with my partner," Elam said.
