Today is May 25, 2017 and I am rewriting this blog because it was accidentally deleted. Nonetheless, my teams goals and aspirations for this 20% project are still the same. We hoped to reach a minimum of 100 followers on our Instagram page, make at least $50 in can recycling and obtain enough clothing to donate to a charity in our community. So far the three of us are still going strong despite a few upbringings. We are more than determined to get to the finish line to display and demonstrate how far we had come in our project and as a team.

Today my partners and I have communicated about the different types of organizations we could potentially visit and donate to. We discussed the different methods on how we can display our progress and managed to come up with a few goals we plan on achieving these next few weeks. Three of our main goals are to collect as much cans every week, search for a mentor and talk to the administrators about putting boxes of donation.

Today my partners and I discussed the goals we planned on our previous blog. Unfortunately we did not find a mentor to guide us through this process, although we are still in the process of finding one. We did increase our can collection for future usage and we still haven't decided on how we plan to get the campus involved with our project.

Today my partners and I discussed our progress and made permanent decisions. Due to our busy schedules we couldn't manage to complete the tasks nor confirm the events planned. Today we reevaluated our goals and came down to go and ask for donations next Wednesday. We finally came to the decision of asking teachers to help us out and ask their students for donations. Not yet decided but in progress, we haven't chosen our mentor to guide us in this project. So far we have managed to collect cans. We plan on having images to display on our slideshow for update purposes and proof. So far we are the pathway to success.

Today my partners and I will finally get to touch on our Mentor Communication Plan. Last week was a difficult time due to our busy schedules and lack of communication. We decided to ask our previous counselor Mr. Robinson. We think he will be a great advocate for our project. In addition, we all agreed to post our progress of can and clothe collecting on social media. We finally named our project and designed a logo to go along with it. We created an account on Instagram and will update our progress every Friday. So far, everything is going as planned and we are starting to move forward.

This week the girls and I stepped up our game and completed many goals we had planned yet never accomplished. We finally were able to fill out an activities request, post our first photo on Instagram, get more followers and receive help from Mrs. Biere and Beaman. They are great at supporting our project by helping with can collecting and

I am writing this blog a week late due to a presentation I had this day for the school's pep rally. That week was the most stressful week of the month because I didn't get back to school until Wednesday because I was on a trip. During the Spring Break I did not touch on my project whatsoever yet it was on the back of my mind. I got nothing accomplished that week and I feel that we should have.

This week my partners and I haven't been as in touch as we wanted to be. Due to our busy schedules and upcoming events that take away from our reunion. I feel that we haven't had the time to speak to our mentor enough, which also falls into our busy schedules. One thing that I would like to point out, is that this week we did receive more cans from Mrs. Biere. This is the second time she has lended us a helping hand towards our project. We want to find more ways to get our social media community involved in our project.

So last Friday April 28 my partners and I presented our 20% project at the schools symposium. We got amazing feedback and did receive more followers on Instagram. I think my partners and I really showed the audience what we have planned for the future in may. We plan on meeting up Friday May 12 to discuss our final plans and then go and help the homeless Saturday May 13.

This week my partners and I decided to chose a date for our final days. We plan on meeting up next Friday to discuss how we will approach the following Saturday and go out and give for change. I'm not going to lie it has been very difficult to really come together and have time as a team. We are three very busy girls and I did not expect our journey to be this difficult. Hopefully we can meet up again during the week to meet up and focus on our goals of going to a shelter. Not to mention, since these are our last weeks of our project we have not had the time to speak of our TED Talk and its really hard to not focus on it because its so close. Hopefully the three of us make it happen and find a way to make it work.
