First Sellout In Covelli
On Sunday, October 6 at 1pm 3,994 fans filled every seat in the Covelli Center with standing room only tickets sold as we faced the Xichigan Wolverines. We were so excited to see all of the students, alumni, young athletes and local families come out for the first sellout in program history at the best volleyball arena in the country. The energy from Buckeye Nation was electric and contributed to a day our athletes and staff will never forget. Fans enjoyed “Covelli Center” t-shirts and glow sticks in celebration of the new facility— Check out the pictures below!
Buckeyes Take On The Big Apple
The Ohio State Buckeyes had the chance to explore New York City before taking on Rutgers earlier this month as the match fell on Fall Break. The group experienced the 9/11 Memorial and Museum - An incredible opportunity learn, pay respect and honor those affected on September 11, 2001. Following the museum the Buckeyes walked to a small Italian restaurant where they were joined by Buckeye Volleyball Alumni Maggie Heim and Alex Heyn. The girls loved hearing stories and advice from two great role models living out their dreams in New York City.
