Week 2

Time Management

Hi Class,

You made it out of week 1! Pretty soon, being in the classroom and understanding the flow of the course will feel like it's second nature to you. I want to reiterate that I'm here to help you! If you are feeling overwhelmed or nervous about any of the assignments, let's chat!!

This short article explains the profound effects of poor time management. We will be dealing with all of these issues in Week 2!

Writing Assignment

Midterm Milestone 1

This week you are asked to complete the 2-2 Midterm Milestone One, Discovering Strengths and Opportunities (MyFoundationsLab) Assignment. As per the directions outlined in the course, you will review and answer questions about critical thinking, reading, research, writing, and analysis to help you determine your own unique learning path in graduate studies.

This milestone is graded pass/fail. You will receive full credit for answering all the questions included in the self-assessment.You will be asked to revisit the results of this assessment and include it as part of next module’s short paper. If you need help understanding how to access this activity, I've included a tutorial below (Created by our very own Dr. Meg) that will guide you, step by step, through all of the Week 2 Activities!

This assignment only requires that you complete the Reading Skills and Writing Skills Path Builder Assessment. After completing the Reading Skills and Writing Skills Path Builder Assessment, additional Learning Path Modules will appear. These Learning Path modules are not required, but are provided as an additional resource which will help you improve based on the results of your path builder assessment.

At this point, I wanted to just check in and make sure we are all on the same page. Have you had a chance to log into your MyFoundationsLab? If not, please let me know and we'll make sure you're all set to go!
