April showers bring May flowers they say, so in the warm month of May, go outside and tie dye some stuff! Being inside during COVID-19 has made people feel restless, bored and crazy. Tie dying with your friends, family or even yourself can take your mind off of this pandemic for a few and leave you with some stylish clothes. Lots of people have hopped on this trend whether it is for fun or even starting a business, so whatever it is, have fun!

  • Any white clothes
  • Safe Tye Die for clothing (I used the first Tie Dye kit that comes up on amazon)
  • Gloves
  • Rubber Bands
  • Plastic sheet underneath
First lay out your plastic sheet on the grass with your white clothing items nearby.
Next, tie the clothing with rubber bands in any desired shape.
Once your clothes are tied, fill up the dye with water up to the line and shake until powder is dissolved. Repeat this step for every color you choose to use.
Next, take the dye and spray all the white spots you may see with color.
Once all the tie dying is done, wrap all items in saran wrap to lock in the moisture and let sit for 6-8 hours.
After 6-8 hours, rinse clothes with cold water before putting them in the washer and dryer.
After everything is washed and dried you can flaunt your new tie dyed items!
