I'm a Developer. I have a passion for tinkering and a love for what I do. There's no greater feeling than creating something so cool you feel the need to tell someone about it. I strive to make sure that anything I devote my time to is done well and is something I can look back on with pride.
Aside from development, I'm an advocate of peer / independant education. Studies show the significance of retention rates when you're educated by peers, this doesn't just apply to running a workshop. Despite the area in which you work, others in the same role will almost certainly know something you don't, taking advantage of that is a fantastic way of expending one's skillset.
Likewise, independent education encourages researching, trial & error, finding new ways of doing things. Sharing new and exciting ways of doing something you'd never have thought of originally is how I as a programmer improve.
