Students are engaged in their classrooms and learning with the new curriculum we put in place this school year. To help you know what’s being taught in your child’s classroom, class newsletters will be sent out by your child’s teachers every Friday through Seesaw. We have also opened the gradebook for your child on ParentsWeb. Grades will be updated weekly. Should you ever have a question, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher. Los estudiantes participan en sus aulas y aprenden con el nuevo plan de estudios que implementamos este año escolar. Para ayudarlo a saber lo que se enseña en el aula de su hijo, los maestros de su hijo enviarán boletines de clase todos los viernes a través de Seesaw. Diocesan Anniversary Mass/Misa de aniversario diocesano
Are you working for God or doing God’s work? Bishop Olson asked us all to reflect on this question, especially when we are faced with challenges, reminding us all that God has called us each by name and asks us to say yes to Him in all things. What a beautiful celebration we had at the convention center this past week. Thank you to all faculty, students, and families that came out and supported this event!

Recitation/Recitación
As part of the Memoria Press Classical Curriculum, students begin their school day with recitation. It’s been a beautiful site to witness students reciting their poems and answering their recitation questions. Teachers shared their recitation videos with you all through Seesaw this past week. We look forward to sharing more of the new classical curriculum we are using and highlighting the great things that the students are learning. Chocolate Sales/Venta de chocolate
Home & School sent home information on Friday about chocolate sales and fundraiser incentives. To receive your box of chocolate, your child must return their form with your signature. As a reminder, chocolate sales is a mandatory fundraiser for those that received additional financial aid beyond the subsidy. If you have questions about this requirement, please contact the school office.

Noon Dismissal this Friday!/Salida del mediodía este viernes!
Don’t forget that this Friday, August 30th is a noon dismissal day. Extended Care is available and all students staying will need to bring a lunch. All families are enrolled in Extended Care. Extended Care Handbook will go home with your child tomorrow. For safety, we do not post the Extended Care phone number on the door any longer. If you are using Extended Care and need to pick up your child, simply call 682-226-4894 when you arrive and the Extended Care staff will bring them out to you.
