Tempura Jaret De La Cruz

Tempura is seafood, vegetables, and sometimes meat fried. Its made by whisking a light batter and dipping one of the ingredients above into it and then frying it until golden brown.

The ingrediants I used are: Whisk flour, cornstarch, 2 egg whites, 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails left on 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

First I peeled some shrimp and prepped it for frying.

Whisk the flour, cornstarch and salt in a large bowl. Add the yolk and mix in the water and egg whites.

Dip shrimp in batter and then fry in oil until golden brown. Let it set on paper towels.
