- Description: Die Pophuis is an owner managed cluster of 7 air conditioned, restored Karoo cottages and three en suite units – all en-walled and brightly lit up at night, with ample safe parking and plenty of space to stretch your legs after a long journey. They are situated in the Great Karoo on the N12, nearly half way between Johannesburg and Cape Town via Kimberley. All the cottages are self-catering accommodation, each its own entrance with ornamental vine pergola providing the necessary shade in summer and ample sun in winter. Each cottage also has braai facilities. Die Pophuis is pet friendly and have a delightful splash pool to cool down during the hot summer months.
