A Civic complex which has evolved over almost a thousand years of history

It sits upon a bluff, overlooking the Welsh Mountains, on what was originally a Norman Motte and Bailey Castle.

Grosvenor Construction has recently completed the structural and conservation works at the Propylaeum in Chester

Our work included the conservation of the fabric

The installation of a new lighting scheme

And the sensitive installation of information boards and signage

Much of the stone carving was carried out at our state of the art facility at our HQ
