The fourth Tuesday talks about death. Morrie says the approach in in dealing with death is that you realizing that we are all going to die soon. Morrie's are Jewish, Buddhism, Christian, and Agnostic. Then Morrie teaches Mitch how to be ready for death. Morrie also tells Mitch about the A.L.S. and how it kills your body slowly.
Mitch says, "Once you learn how to die, you learn how to live.' Morrie recognizes that in the face of death, we realize how precious life is. Death helps Morrie to discover which things are most important to life. In a way, he only really started to live once he learned that he was dying" (Albom 82).
Morrie teaches Mitch that when you learn how to die, you will learn how to die. Morrie also teaches Mitch to focus on what is important in life. So this is what I think the readers should take away from this chapter.
The fact that every Tuesday, Mitch learns more and helps more and almost considered family.
