This year's summer 4-H STEM Academy was slightly different with students meeting online daily and taking on CAMP INVENTION at home!

Last Summer our 4-H STEM Academy hosted Camp Invention's 'Elevate' curricula. It was full of many great challenges that our inventors took on with gusto!

There were four modules in 'Elevate'; Flight Lab, Thinking Project, Rescue Squad and Champions! Each module challenged the inventors to use the tools and supplies provided to come up with their own fabulous inventions.

Inventors were able to pick up their Camp Invention 'Elevate' Kits and delicious food kits as well (prepared by the awesome SNAPed team) weekly. Then they had the option of meeting with their 4H STEM Academy online everyday to check in, go over activities with our teen instructors, ask questions or share their inventions and discoveries.

Here's a few inventors doing what they do best!
More inventors!
Inventing and trying things out to see if they need adjustments.
Even though we couldn't be together in person, we hope everyone still felt supported and connected at the 4H STEM Academy Summer Program.
Thanks so much for participating in the 4-H STEM Academy! Check in with 4-H for more great camp opportunities throughout the year!

This year's STEM Academy was made possible through a partnership with the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District and 4-H, Institute of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Extension at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
