The industrial revolution was a time of rapid development in technology. Terrific events occurred during this time. The industrial revolution started with the cotton gin making the work of fifty men, the work of one. Afterward came factory's making a range of cars to producing electricity between the time of the cotton gin. There was no union making factory work available to all men, wemon and children. Therefore the industrial revolution was a curse because it made children and woman work forced by the patriarch of the house, it was horrible working conditions, and slavery increased

Child labor

During the time of the industrial revolution child labor was a big issue. Children and wemon worked in factories with no such thing as child labor law. Kids all over the world were forced to work in bad conditions by their family. They worked in terrible working conditions got to desease and wore taterd clothes. "The employment of children below a specified legal age is referred to as child labor."

Bad working conditions

The working conditions were bad with low wage. They worked 12 hours of day from sun up to sun down. The workers were paid low wages and had to start labor unions to earn a rightful wage. The worked in dusty grimy places with little to no brakes. The work place had lots of dirt and desease. "All of the laws regulating the conditions under which employees work for employers are called labor and industrial law."

Increase of slavey

The invention of the cotton gin. Now one slave can do the work of fifty. The value of slaves increase and the need for slaves goes up, as the value the value goes up slavery increase. "The people called the Slave (or Slavey) are a Native American tribe of Canada. They originally lived along the western shores of the Great Slave Lake, in the basins of the Mackenzie and Liard rivers, and in neighboring areas."
