New mental health tips and advice videos Health and Wellbeing

A new series of videos is looking at how we can support our mental health and wellbeing. In the first video, Katie Watts, a mental health professional from Essex, talks about when to seek mental health support.

There can be lots of reasons why people can put off seeking help for their mental health but this can lead to worsening symptoms and unhealthy coping strategies. If you think you need help, then please seek help through your GP, other primary care professional or through your local talking therapies service.

You can view what mental health support services are available in mid and south Essex through out mental health services guides available here:

The videos were produced by Mid and South Essex Health and Care Partnership as part of the My Health Matters campaign, which aims to bring together tools, tips and resources that can help people to support their health and wellbeing. Find out more about the campaign by clicking the below button:

The rest of the series delve into some of the most common conditions that effect our mental health: anxiety, stress, low mood and poor sleep.
