SAVOR a seasonal GROUP experience to slow down, unwind, and feel better.

Autumn and early Winter are times of bittersweet transition.

The light fades to the shortest day of the year, and with it our energy ebbs and we lean toward coziness and hibernation in the dusk rather than the bright striving of summer.

Trees and plants draw their energy down into their roots to ride out the winter, resting until Spring.

Tender birds migrate to warmer climes, water solidifies in the cold, and frost embroiders the landscape.

It's a time of unique and subtle beauty.

A time when culture traditionally flowed with the season— finishing putting up food, telling stories around the fire, sharing feasts and celebrations from the harvest, turning inward together, celebrating the returning of the light as we round the corner on the Solstice.

It's so easy to get caught up in the daily grind of modern life— to feel trapped by expectations & responsibilities, feel too busy for fun or unsettled by the changing season...

So let's slow down a bit together and savor this fleeting season.

Life is short, and we feel time slipping through our fingers.

We feel a pull to something more- beyond the striving and the busyness.

We crave something simpler, slower, deeper, more easeful- a way of being in the world and doing life that flows with the seasons and nourishes us deeply, that feels calmer, quieter, more satisfying, delightful and delicious.

Let's take a step back, take a deep breath, savor this unique season, and connect with those deeper rhythms of the year and of community we're still part of.

Let's cozy up to the warm, glowing ember of what matters most to you, and find ways to return to it again and again throughout a day and a season.

Join me for SAVOR— a 4 week group experience online to help us slow down, unwind, savor the season, and connect with what matters most.

You'll receive:

  • Weekly prompts for simple "playwork" (not time consuming homework!) connected to our weekly theme— so you can start to slow down, simplify, and savor in small, delightful, and very doable ways that won't overwhelm you.
  • Weekly audio recordings to listen to at your leisure to inspire, relax, or ponder— to inspire and delight you on our adventure.
  • Weekly online group coaching sessions (and recording if you can't make it live) where we'll come together around the digital campfire— this is where the magic happens— so you have a safe, supportive, community built in to share wisdom and insight, ask questions and wonder out loud, work through challenges and obstacles, and celebrate together.
  • Access to a private online member group forum where you can chat, ask for support, share insights, photos, etc. to your heart's content between group sessions.
  • 15% discount on one on one coaching with Jenny, if desired, within one year of the date of this program end.

I am running this as a beta version of this program, and as such am offering it at an initial price of $50 total for the 4 weeks. Price for future Savor programs (Deep Winter, Spring, Summer, etc.) will be higher.

Savor starts November 19, 2018.

This is not about escape, or endurance, or shirking responsibilities...

It’s about embracing and mirroring this transitional season we’re entering— turning inward together, drawing down into our roots the sustenance we need to sustain us through the winter and to build stores for our vital emergence in the Spring, savoring the goodness in our lives as they are right now.

It’s about savoring rest, beauty, community, good food, natural rhythms, deep well-being.

It’s about loosening the grip striving and strain and busyness have on us and deepening into a vision of well-being that allows for delight, deliciousness, spaciousness, and fun right alongside our day to day responsibilities.

It’s asking “How can I enjoy life and nurture myself (and my community) to the fullest, within my reality, while I do what I need and want to do?”

Feel rested, peaceful, delighted...

...so that you can engage with life refreshed, rejuvenated, and continue to add your goodness to the world in an enjoyable and sustainable way.

What people are saying...

"I’ve absolutely loved being in this group and it’s been by far and away the most fun. It’s a bunch of amazingly supportive people. Hearing someone else talk about something they're passionate about helps bring me back to myself and what I’m passionate about. I loved Jenny's gentleness and patience and not being all bootcamp style!" —Laura

"That’s the beauty of these groups- when we feel like we’re on our own, we’re not- we’re all in it together and the support of this group has been awesome. Be willing to give it a try. This has been great." —S.F.

"You gave every single person the opportunity to be coached. It was rich for me because I got the feedback and insights and support from other people, from everybody. I was being more accountable to the whole group than just a coach and me. It’s a grander holding than the one on one. I loved it. I really liked it a lot. I thought it was brilliant and want to say thank you to you and everyone else." —Page Monte

"I highly recommend Jenny Mahan if you feel like you need to reconnect with what’s important in life for you, but are not sure how to do that." —Sharon Zink

"Getting the feedback of the group made me realize that I should trust myself more and stop wasting time trying to be perfect before acting (or speaking -I never or barely used to speak in groups as a participant!). It's amazing to experience this kind of support first-end. Jenny, you've made us all feel like a true part of this group, no matter the different goals or preoccupations we each have. Thank you!" —D.P.

Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes- including you.— Ann Lamott
I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in. ~John Muir
Wild Geese, by Mary Oliver

You do not have to be good. You do not have to walk on your knees For a hundred miles through the desert, repenting. You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves. Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine. Meanwhile the world goes on. Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain are moving across the landscapes, over the prairies and the deep trees, the mountain and the rivers. Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air, are heading home again. Whoever you are, no matter how lonely, the world offers itself to your imagination, calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting— over and over announcing your place in the family of things.
