In the 1930s most of the world was in a depression and Europe was recovering from World War II. Many countries became token over by dictators and invading other countries.

Adolf Hitler was the leader of the Nazis party which took over Germany. They forced Jews into concentration camps blaming them for Germany's problems. He began to invade countries like, Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Belgium, and France.

Italy became a fascist country and was token over by Benito Mussolini who took over countries like Ethiopia and Albania.

With help from Benito Mussolini, fascist Francisco Franco took over Spain.

Joseph Stalin took over the Soviet Union witch form after the Russian Revolution. In order to keep Hitler from attacking them, he sided with him.

General Hideki Tojo became prime minister of Japan. To get resources he invaded much of China.

Theses actions eventually led to World War ll.
