Knightly News 9-28-2018 Edition

Hello Smith Knights. This week saw our first early release day on Wednesday. During our early release our staff worked on a few team building exercises focusing on personality surveys and connecting that work to effective communication and building a strong Smith Faculty Family. One of the many academically challenging lessons that engaged our students this week is pictured above. Our students participated in a lab in Mrs. Brennan's 6th grade class that connected the following of safety protocols, directions, and ordered steps to lab outcomes as students created rainbows in test tubes by combining specific ingredients. Do you remember Roy G. Biv?

All district employees have started training and this training will continue during the school year.
