Lovejoy Independent School District • An Economic Engine continue to scroll down for complete details

Lovejoy ISD is proud to be the “economic engine” that powers four surrounding cities.

Our school district taxable values are 99% residential. But this is not your typical “bedroom community”. The quality and success of the school district has created a demand for high-end housing in our 17 square mile footprint on Collin County. Although the entire county has experienced exponential growth over the last two decades, Lovejoy ISD home market values have risen significantly above all neighboring districts. Our average home value is $600,000.

However, our true economic impact reaches well beyond our school district, bordering cities or even our great State of Texas. The premium economic product of Lovejoy ISD will ultimately have a global economic impact. As we prepare the students, we are privileged to educate for successful futures in a vast array of professions, industries, and communities.

Lovejoy High School is ranked in the top 1% of all high schools in the nation by “U.S. News and World Report”.

Our student’s extraordinary academic achievement (AP scholars data) will no doubt contribute to innovation in every field. For example:

  • Two of our students, Brooklyn and Bailey McKnight, are marketing geniuses. Check out their social media accounts - (YouTube Channel) (Facebook) (Instagram)
  • Graduate Garren Weeks (GW Media) is an up and coming leader in the drone world

Our district actively shared the quality of our schools during the Toyota Corporation relocation process by interacting with executives moving to Texas. This time investment resulted in many families choosing to relocate into Lovejoy ISD and therefore boosting the economy of our bordering cities as well with new citizens shopping, dining and engaging in area recreation activities.

We love to showcase our students and staff.

Feel free to contact us (here) for a tour of our schools!
