The Odyssey

Trojan War: The Trojan war was a war between Troy and Greec which ended up in the victory of Greece and the destruction of Troy. This war started when Trojan Prince Paris took Helen, Helen was the wife of Menelaus of Sparta.

Menelaus demanded her back but Paris refused so Menelaus prersuaded his brother Agamemnon to lead an army into Troy. The major players of this war were: Paris who was the prince of Troy, Menelaus who was the husband of helen, Agamemnon who lead the army into Troy,Acheilis who was the greatest Greek warrior and many many more.Source and more people⬇️ The way the Trojan war ties in into the Odyssey is that Odyeaus was the dude who came up with the idea of the Trojan horse.


Homer was the author of both The Odyssey and Iliad. There speculation if he actually existed and is believed by some that the Iliad was written by a group of people rather than a single person.
