Neptune is somewhat similar to mars.

Mars is similar to Neptune because they both rotate in the same direction, are named after roman gods, have average temperatures below 0% Fahrenheit, both has water vapor in very small amounts, has ice somewhere on the planets. Mars at the south poles, Neptune somewhere in the core.

Some differences are mars is the fourth planet closest to the sun and Neptune is the eighth planet closest to the sun. It is also the farthest planet from the sun that is known. Mars orbits the sun 14.5 miles per hour. Neptune orbits the sun at 12,253 miles per hour.
