Q:What Does it Mean to be a Good Citizen? A: citizenship comes with rights and responsibilities. A responsibility is something you don't have to do but you should do like tolerance of other people's opinions. On the other hand rights are things you have to do. Like law, voting, and paying taxes. There are a lot of other things that come with being a good citizen these are just a few.
Q:What forces work for and against supranational cooperation among nations? A:You have both centripetal and centrifugal forces working together. Centripetal forces bring the eu together with thing that the smaller government agrees with. centrifugal forces make the eu go separate ways with things that the smaller governments don't agree with. A centrifugal force that makes the eu separate for example not everybody uses the euro money so it makes it harder for other countries who do and every time they go in that country they have to exchange money. A centripetal force is what brings the eu together for example they all work together like one unit and speak as one unit. So there are things that bring the eu together and separate them it's to say that the European can agree on things but there are not always perfect.
Q:what is government and why is it necessary? A:Government is a powerful system that rules a country and keeps its citizens in line. It is necessary because if you didn't have government the citizens of the country would be out of control with no one to enforce laws. government is necessary because it enforced laws and keeps citizens in line. This is important because if there was no government the citizens would be free to do whatever. It would be an anarchy. In other words, without government it would be crazy and dangerous for everyone.Government is a powerful system, and while it may keep citizens under the control of the law, you need to make sure that one person does not have total power. Many countries having a limiting government system so their government does not become a dictatorship. You do not want one person to have unlimited control because that power could easily turn a democracy into a dictatorship. In conclusion government is really important because it keeps citizens in line and enforces the laws they don't have too much power on each side.
Q: Which would be easier to live in, the Sahara or the Sahel? A: The Sahara would be easier living in than the Sahel. It is harder finding water in the Sahel than the Sahara. The Sahara has oasis which is water in a desert. The Sahel is all desert it is harder to find water. Around the oasis there are trees that grow some of them are palm dates, acacias, and baobab trees. People use those trees for cash crops. If you constantly keep making cash crops it will cause deforestation. Deforestation is when there is no more trees because of cash crops.if you constantly keep making cash crops it will cause deforestation. Q: How might having a valuable resource affect a region? A: Having a valuable resource might affect the region because the oil they have is a nonrenewable resource. It can also be good in a way. Resource that is oil is first crude and they process it so they can sell it to other places. Because of the oil they have the life expectancy went up and the infant mortality rate went down. It can affect the region also because they have a lot of oil reserves all over the region and that could be bad because of the smoke that rises it could be bad for the citizens. If it's bad for the citizens the life expectancy will start to drop. Because the region is rich from oil not all the people in that region has the same amount of money. The money there and the oil there s not distributed equally. The oil can affect the region in a bad way and a good way. Good for life expectancy and infant mortality. Bad for people because of the smoke that is left behind. The non equally distributed money and oil reserves and oil.
