Yes -- they still actively use a manual card catalog system. I volunteered to help digitize it but this is staying.

Beautiful staircase. Look closely at each tread on the left side next to the railing. You can faintly see a dip in the tread. From years and years of visitors the treads are wearing into this dip. When you go on the stairs between the 2nd and 3rd and 4th where visitors don't tread the stairs are even. When you return to these you can feel the difference.
The rotunda and the dome. How many times have I said I walked around the dome???
