The Black Death Bailey altman

The Black Death is widely believed to have been the result of plague, caused by infection with the bacterium Yersinia pestis. Modern genetic analyses indicate that the strain of Y. pestis introduced during the Black Death is ancestral to all extant circulating Y. pestis strains known to cause disease in humans. Hence, the origin of modern plague epidemics lies in the medieval period. Other scientific evidence has indicated that the Black Death may have been in origin.

Black Death explained: the disease spreads through the air and through the bits of rats and fleas , the passing of a disease from one to another by direct Contact. The symptoms include fever, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, aches and pains also could lead to death.
