USLI and Breastcancer.org Fighting for the future

We couldn’t be more proud to announce our fourth annual Baskets for Breast Cancer auction from October 17-24, 2018. Anyone will have the ability to visit our online auction page and bid on their favorite baskets. In years past, we’ve had everything from vacations to sports tickets and popular Apple products to concert tickets. You, your friends and family can bid knowing 100 percent of all proceeds from the auction will go directly to Breastcancer.org.

Contact our team to learn more about how to donate and get involved! Our donation guidelines include information about how to build a basket, what to include and not include, shipping information, an FAQ and more. Email us with your interest in donating, and we will send you additional details.

In support of Breastcancer.org, USLI runs an annual initiative called “1 Month, 1 Percent, 1 Fight” during October. USLI contributes 1 percent of all new business premium from each new USLI policy to Breastcancer.org. Our customers can make a contribution by simply doing what they do every day – be the best at selling insurance!

Dr. Marisa Weiss

Breastcancer.org is a nonprofit organization and a source of guidance for those who have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Created by Dr. Marisa Weiss, this online website has reached millions of people across the globe and provides up-to-date medical information so that women and families can make sense of this complex disease. In addition, Breastcancer.org works hard to communicate risk factors and works with reputable organizations to research what can contribute to a breast cancer diagnosis.

USLI’s partnership with Breastcancer.org began many years ago to bring breast cancer education and awareness to as many people as possible.

In 2018 alone, it’s expected that 266,120 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s also an astounding statistic that 85 percent of these women will have no family history of breast cancer. So what can we do?

We can work together to promote Breastcancer.org’s mission of making sure women and their families have access to a supportive community and medical information that will assist them in making the right choices for their futures. With the help of our employees, customers, vendors, family, friends and the general public, we know we can make a difference.
