Music Composers and engineers make music, record the music, and edit the music. Nowadays, the industry of recording has gone to naked and thin, unlike the fullness you can get from natural reverb. However, with modern programs, one can edit the music to make it sound more natural. And the best way to do that, is by recording the music with good equipment in proper places and settings. Almost all of the best music from television to movies to video games have been recorded all at once with a whole orchestra. Examples include, but are not limited to: Family Guy, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones. But all of them do include audio editing in some way.

Technology involved in music studios are surprisingly simple. A isolated room with sound-proofed walls and some microphones. There is not much too it, and sometimes simpler is better. Engineers can use computers to distort, augment, equalize, and compress the music to make it sound better.
