Trojans Hush the Huskies USC gets a W at Galen Center on Senior Night

Before its last home game of the season, USC celebrated Senior Day, honoring Charles Buggs, Samer Dhillon and manager Silas Gaines.

After a slow start — trailing by 10 just under 5 minutes into the game — the Trojans found their groove and took a 6-point lead into the break.

For the second game in a row, PG Jordan McLaughlin led the way for the Trojans. In USC's regular season finale, he posted 22 points, 9 assists, 4 steals and 4 rebounds.

Forwards Chimezie Metu and Nick Rakocevic also posted double figures, with 17 and 10 points, respectively.

Rakocevic was a perfect 5-of-5 from the floor.

The Trojans shot 58.6 percent from the field overall — their best clip of the season.

The shot of the night came with just 29 seconds left in the game, when Dhillon checked in and drained a beautiful corner three — the first of his career — in front of dozens of family members and a raucous Galen Center crowd.

In Buggs' final game at the Galen Center, meanwhile, he went 2-for-2 for 5 points, with one of USC's season-high 10 dunks.

USC finished the regular season tied for fifth place with Cal, after being projected to finish seventh in the preseason poll.

Next up for the Trojans is the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas, NV, beginning on Wednesday.
