Themes
The theme of this story is over the love Gatsby has for daisy. He dreams and has the memories of the good times he's had with daisy and can't seem to let go of them.
Direct- 27 year old male who is in love with a daisy. He started off poor and became wealthy to seek Daisy's attention and seeks for her love and attention too.
Direct-young man from Minnesota who, after being educated at Yale and fighting in World War I, goes to New York City to learn the bond business. Closest friend to jay Gatsby and only person who is there for him when he needs someone.
Indirect- myrtle gets in front of the car were she though nick was driving but is wasn't nick it was daisy. The only reason myrtle got in front was because she though she could run away with nicck.
The symbol I choose is a clock because in the story Gatsby wishes he can go back in time when him and daisy were happy and I love. He wishes he could go back in time when they were together at his party dancing having a good time together with no one in between them.
