Luau 2020

On July 25th, 2020 LiveDAYBREAK hosted their annual Luau using a live stream format for Daybreak Residents. Earlier in the day, Rusty Croft created a Sand Sculpture by the new Boathouse beach on SoDa Row.

A few residents were able to RSVP to attend the Luau in person while adhering to the Salt Lake County Guidelines.

Rusty Croft, who has been featured TV Shows like Sand Masters, Sand Wars, and others, was here creating another sandcastle art piece for daybreak residents.

It took him about 12 hours to create the sandcastle from beginning to end, starting at 8 AM. Here is a time-lapse video of the build.

We would like to thank all those that helped and participated in this event, including a big thanks to Daybreak Community Association for allowing the use of the Daybreak Community Center.

We look forward to having a COVID-19 free Luau in 2021!
