The expulsion of the acadians by Kareem

Today i am going to be talking about the expulsion of the acadians. the year this took place was 1755-1763. Some of the people that were in the whole thing are The Acadians, The British and the First Nations. This happened because the British thought the Acadians were a threat so then they had a war, the war happened because they did not except loyalty.

The sad thing is the British burned down the Acadians houses and they tore their families apart. Some families never saw each other again. The British forced the Acadians to leave. This is an important topic because it shows how life was for the Acadians and it shows how you should appreciate what you have. The land was taken by the New England settlers. The Acadians came back in 1764 and they made sure they settled far away from their old houses.

This topic had a big affect on the Acadians because they lost their houses, They had to leave there country and they got separated from their families. Then a couple of years later the Acadians returned and they moved to houses far away from there old ones.
