KY Dept of Education's new 5-STAR rating system explained

On Tues, Oct. 1, educators, parents, students and education stakeholders will see for the first time how their local schools are performing under Kentucky’s new 5-star accountability system. The system can be viewed in the form of an online dashboard located at https://www.kyschoolreportcard.com.* The report for each school or district will show graphics displaying the overall identification of one to five stars, federal designations, the performance on indicators (from very low to very high), and any statistically significant achievement gaps.

Our scores were shared during the October Family Night last week. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.

CULTURE NIGHT

Join us for an evening celebrating our cultural diversity with food, games, crafts, and dancing. Sign up for this FREE event by clicking on this form.

Join us for an evening of food and student involved entertainment!

May we suggest . . .

On occasion and as a courtesy, we send out voice messages for families as reminders for events, etc. If you are not able to answer in time, and you have voice mail, please listen to the voice mail message before calling the school back. When a large number of people return the last number called, without listening to the message, our receptionist is overwhelmed with calls all at once. Thank you for understanding.

LOST & FOUND!

There will be tables set up in the lobby for "Lost and Found" items on Wed and Thur. Please ask your children to take home all their coats, jackets, lunch boxes, etc. by Tuesday afternoon. We will collect anything left on the picket fences after dismissal Tuesday. Anything left on the tables after Friday will be taken to a charity.
