What do they do- Animators create animation and visual effects for tv, movies, video games, and other forms of media they also meet with clients and other animators to discuss deadlines and animators also edit works of their own and if asked others

Skills and Abilities- Need to have time management skills, creativity, communication, and computer skills

Education- Need a Bachelors degree in graphic design and art while most animation companies have on the job training

Companies and Jobs Schedule- Work hours are normal but with deadlines close some work nights while most animators are self employed some work for businesses like pixar and sony

Salary- The lowest 10% make less than $36,930 and the top 10% make more than $113,600 the average pay is $63,970

Job Outlook- The job outlook from 2014-24 is a increase by a total of 6%

Theodor Seuss Geisei also known as Dr. Seuss is a well known author of children's books but many do not know that he was a animator as well. Most well known of his animated work was the animated tv special "How the Grinch Stole Christmas?". While working for the Armed Forces Motion Pictures Unit Geisei was chosen as the head of the animation branch and began working on the animated series Private Snafu.
