Mercy Network Mission

We are a network of Christians committed to the glory of God. We work for victimized, abused and vulnerable children, especially those with greater physical, social and psycho-emotional needs. We apply biblical truths to promote the full development and integration of our children into society.

At Mercy Network Foundation, we are working hard to see boys and girls that are fully healed, protected, cared for, loved, educated, and trained for life, trusting in Jesus Christ and developing their God-given potential.
You're receiving this presentation because you're a friend of Grace Baptist Church in Papillion, and Pastor Lou Sloger, and the Mercy Network needs volunteers who will lovingly serve in our children's home.

We'd like to give you some history of our (GBC's) work in the Dominican Republic.

The Mercy Network Foundation is located in Santiago, Dominican Republic

Grace Baptist Church of Papillion began supporting DR missions in 2006 when Pastor Lou Sloger established a relationship with Pastor Oscar Arocha of Grace Baptist Church of Santiago (La Iglesia Bautista de la Gracia) and his wife Olga Arocha.

In 2007, we funded the addition of a High School to the church’s private school.

In 2010, we helped establish a theological seminary at the Santiago church. We support 12 young men each year from all over Latin America, and have over 150 graduates to date!

In 2012, we began supporting the “Fundacion Red de Misericordia (FRM),” the Mercy Network Foundation, through our ongoing partnership with GBC Santiago, to support their efforts to care for the children of the (Mercy Network) children's home.

Olga Arocha started the Mercy Network, working with partner churches and the Dominican government, in order to provide shelter, nourishment, safety, love, education, and most importantly, the hope of the Gospel to children who have none.

GBC Papillion provides tuition for children who belong to the Mercy Network to attend the private school, and provided funds to help with the construction of the Mercy Network Foundation facility, as well as a van to transport the children.

If you have a few minutes, please watch this video to get a better sense of Olga's vision and the work which is already going on.

Olga’s dream was to establish a home for neglected and victimized children, and raise them in a Christian environment to prepare them for the future.
This is the Foundation dormitory
Currently the Foundation is housing 109 children. Obviously, this is a LOT, and The Mercy Network needs volunteers...

Because the children range in age from newborn to 18 years old, there's a variety of staffing needs. We'd like to find volunteers who can come for short term or long term to help teach, love, and play with these kids.

And there's a beautiful place to stay right next to the children's home...
