I edit my pictures using Camera Raw and Bridge. Using the Nikon D3200, my camera, I take picture of the landscape and animals, but I tend to stay away from people or profile images. Photography helps capture the beauty of rural living and share it with people.
WINTER BREAK PICTURES
1st Semester final project12/5
I cropped and increased the contrast in the after picture. This series of pictures were taken on my Nikon D3200 and edited on Camera Raw. I used rule of thirds. I took these pictures to experiment with controlling light out of household items.
I decreased the exposure and increased the contrast. I tried using a different composition style, background. I used Av mode to take the pictures of clocks so I could have more control over my picture.
While taking this picture I actually made a cup of tea and as I added everything I made a mess with each one, for example when I poured the sugar in I put some on the counter. To edit this picture I used Adobe Bridge and Camera Raw to crop and mess around with the highlights and contrast.
The composition style that I use the most of is Rule of Third. It is definitely the easiest composition style in my opinion to use. I used it in the violin and tree picture; I also used my camera, Nikon D3200, and edited them slightly. Using a real camera opposed to a iPhone camera or any phone camera can greatly the turn out of your photo.
