"The sea, the great unifier, is man's only hope. Now, as never before."

"the old phrase has a literal meaning: We are all in the same boat."

Jacques Cousteau- LEGEND 1910-1997

Ocean Champions recently hosted a really cool event to discuss the state of our ocean.

Who are Ocean Champions? Ocean Lovers from all walks of life. Doing the worlds most important work.
The event was two fold. We visited two locations. One location was the beautiful Aquarium of the Pacific. As well we visited the Los Angeles Harbor thats currently undergoing a massive facelift. In fact the following images will show the future home for a world class Marine and Oceanography research center that will also be a home for The Nautilus research vessel.
Welcome to the Port of Los Angeles
When I was in grammar school this port was my very first field trip. I hadn't been back to this location on this pier since that time some forty years ago. I remember vividly cruising around here then visiting a nearby beach and aquarium. It's our hope that all the worlds children for now and forever can be given the same opportunity.

So that we can avoid this.

Kennedy's PT-109 in 2002 and visited Biuku Gasa and Eroni Kumana, who saved its crew. He leads ocean exploration on E/V Nautilus.
