Hezekiah by Isaac Gunaseelan #3

Hezekiah was a man that was one of the few kings of Judah that followed God. Hezekiah is mentioned in 2 Kings 18-20 and he is mentioned in some other places. Hezekiah's reign lasted 29 years he did lots of good work, but a lot of it was undone by his son, Manasseh. He got lots of Gods word through the prophet Isiah. We can learn to be faithful from Hezekiah, he never turned to other Gods and he always trusted God. The king of Assyria said many bad things to him but he still stayed with the Lord, but God made many of the Assyrian men from the kings camp die and he was forced to go back hoe. Jerusalem was about to be invaded but Hezekiah still didn't stray away from the Lord, and the Lord kept his promise and he protected Jerusalem. And when Hezekiah was sick he prayed to the Lord and he granted him 15 more years of life.
