we are looking for a dynamic self-starter with an eye for design and flare for animation to join our media team in a paid internship program.

Our paid internship program is a unique opportunity to work alongside communications experts, entrepreneurs, and other students to bring stories to life through graphics and animations.

responsibilities

  • You will aid in many areas of the organization by constructing designs for metrics, website initiatives, and informational content
  • You will gain a wide breadth of design experience
  • Create original content using Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and/or After Effects
  • Assemble material into an assortment of video-based deliverables ranging from Youtube, Twitter, Facebook and other social media vehicles
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge of Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook video and any other social-based upload and sharing efforts
  • Maintain a detailed calendar and library of communication material

requirements

  • Fluent computer skills and proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Attention to detail and a genuine love for storytelling through graphics and animation
  • Background knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, AfterEffects, and/or PhotoShop
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Pursuing BS/BA or Associates related to Graphic Design, Communication, Design & Applied Arts, Architecture, Advertising, Digital Communication
  • At least 3 graphic design/animation samples to demonstrate your design abilities

educational requirements

  • 18 years of age or older and enrolled in a college or university with an interest in one of the following: Graphic Design, Communication, Design & Applied Arts, Architecture, Advertising, Digital Communication
  • Minimum of 20 hours per week with a maximum of 30 hours per week at $12/hr
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
