"...having done all, STAND!" Communiqué :: July 2021

Hi everyone,

Worldwide, 3,909,657 have died as of 24th June 2021 due to the COVID-19 outbreak and by the time you read this bulletin, the number of fatalities would have increased.

If we are honest with ourselves, in the light of Pandemic, the issue of death and eternity, as unpopular as it is, is one that we cannot deny. Our life on earth is for a limited time only but the life that awaits us, after our death spans through eternity.

  • The life that we know of today is like a,” mist” that comes and goes without warning. “ Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil” (James 4:13-16)
  • As believers, we will face the “bema judgement” to account for how we live our lives. “So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad” (2 Cor 5:9-10)
  • Those who did not receive salvation through Jesus Christ will face the “Great White Throne Judgement”. “Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire” (Rev 20:11-15)

Let us remember, “eternity” is more real than life as we know of today, it is also unending. Let us prepare not just for today or tomorrow but for ETERNITY because it can begin at any time for you or me and when it comes, it will never end. Can you imagine having to live in the same condition and environment FOREVER and knowing it will NEVER END? (Heb. 9:27)

“Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation” (1 Peter 2:11-12)

Building a Hedge and Wall of Fire

through Prayer and Intercession

“Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land” Job 1:10

“For I,’ says the LORD, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ (Zech 2:5)

It’ s time to WAKE UP from our spiritual slumber. The Church is facing the most intense spiritual warfare today since her birth on Pentecost 2000 years ago.

Even as the Pandemic rages uncontrollably through the world, the devil and the anti-Christ spirit is at work through different human institutions (business, religious, government, etc.) is taking advantage to hinder and destroy God’s people.

The anointing of the Holy Spirit is not limited by space and time. It's available to all who will call upon Him in faith. He hears us online as we call upon Him.

Join us every Wednesday night (Online) at 8:00pm as we pray for ourselves, our church and the nation.

I was hospitalised in HKL (Hospital Kuala Lumpur) for three days due to excessive bleeding caused by fibroids in my uterus. As I began to regain strength, I asked the Holy Spirit to open doors for me to witness about the Lord to the ladies who were in the ward with me. Due to MCO, no visitors were allowed, so patients spent time talking to each other. I began friendly conversations with the desire to share the love of God with three ladies, which the Lord enabled me. Praise the Lord!!

One Morning, the Lord divinely arranged for me to bump into another lady on a wheelchair, Jaya (not her real name) who was about to go for a scan. She told me that she had cancer of the womb and the scan was to determine if it had spread to her rectum. And if so, a surgery to place the rectum on the outside of her body will be performed. I was honestly taken aback and didn’t know how to respond. As she was recounting her situation, tears welled up in her eyes and I felt a surge of compassion for her. I just muttered, “sister don’t worry, I will pray for Jesus to help you” and before I could say more, a nurse came and wheeled her away. Turning aside I prayed a very simple prayer, “Lord, have mercy on her”.

After a few hours, I went to see her and asked her about her scan results. She was so thankful that her rectum was cancer-free. I shared that Jesus loves her and she agreed to let me pray for her. I led her in a simple prayer of salvation. We exchanged phone numbers and it was time for me to go home.

I continued to be in touch with her and kept praying as she underwent hysterectomy. Pastors from Metro, my LG leaders (Bro Franklin n sis Joyce) and fellow sisters from Metro prayed for her too. We continued to declare Psalms 79:11 over this precious sister. “Let the groaning of the prisoner come before You; According to the greatness of Your power preserve those who are appointed to die.”

A few days after the surgery, Jaya recounted it was the Lord Jesus who helped her because she had no hope of surviving the surgery but Jaya was still afraid of having to go through chemotherapy again. Amazingly, a check-up with the doctor 8 weeks later revealed that she did not have to undergo chemotherapy. She was so happy and relieved. Praise the Lord for this awesome miracle!

I thank the Lord for granting me opportunities to share His love to Sis Jaya and three others at the weakest and most vulnerable moment of my life especially in this season of MCO. Hallelujah! Whether it is MCO or otherwise, let’s continue to share His love whenever we have the opportunity. We just need to obey and pray simple prayers with faith and the Lord’s invisible hands will start working great things beyond comprehension. All glory belongs to our Lord Jesus alone…Amen.
