Alumnae Au Courant DECEMBER 2018

Come Home for Christmas

Over 800 guests came together to celebrate Christmas at the 6th annual Come Home for Christmas weekend. Friday night’s Christmas Party was a tremendous success bringing parents, faculty, staff and alumnae together to celebrate Nordic Noel-style. On Sunday we welcomed new and old friends to an afternoon of seasonal activities and a festive holiday boutique. The weekend's proceeds benefitted the Faculty/Staff Professional Development Fund.

Alumnae Sports Reunions

Thanks to all of the alumnae (and parents of alumnae!) who joined us for the volleyball and squash reunion on November 24. We loved seeing some familiar faces back on our home courts!

Calling all swimmers and basketball players, you're next! Join us for our 3rd annual alumnae swimming reunion on December 22 or our alumnae basketball game on January 4.

St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Bicentennial Celebration

November 18, the feast day of St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, marked the closing of the bicentennial celebration in her honor. Members of our community, including several alumnae, traveled to St. Charles and St. Louis, MO to participate in the closing ceremonies celebrating St. Rose Philippine Duchesne's founding of the first Sacred Heart School in the United States. A beautiful Mass for over 1,000 congregants, including Philippine’s descendants, was held at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis.
