  • $1,000,000 TEA grant awarded to seven district network
  • Dyslexia Collaborative Network includes Cleveland ISD, Channelview ISD, Humble ISD, Huffman ISD, New Caney ISD, Sheldon ISD and Tomball ISD
  • Targets elementary students through the third grade
  • Includes a dyslexia awareness campaign to facilitate early identification
  • Engages family participation through Ready Rosie targeting birth - 3rd grade
  • Uses a multi-layered screening process to identify those at risk
  • Provides additional curriculum access tools
  • Provides consistent evaluation practices for Spanish and English evaluations
  • Enhances dyslexia services for ELs with curriculum and training
  • Provides enhanced progress monitoring for all K-3 students in dyslexia intervention
  • Provides Region 4 training on dyslexia for staff, including SPED and bilingual teachers
