Non-Fiction Text Features Game 5th grade

This is a game that quizzes students on their knowledge of non-fiction text features! Students draw a time card (anywhere from 5-60 seconds) and a text feature card. They have that long to find their text feature in a book. The other students will time them and check their work. If they found it in time, then they get to role the die and move their playing piece. The first player to get to the finish line wins! This is a thrill for students and they have to put the pedal to the metal to beat the time!

This game is perfect for fifth graders. This game could be played in small groups with no teacher supervision or with the teacher. Either way would be fun and beneficial!
