What was the Trojan War?

The trojan war was a war between the Greeks and the the people of Troy in the late Bronze Age.

How did the war start and end?

According to the classical sources, the warbegan after the abduction of queen Helen by the Trojan prince Paris. The war ended after the Trojan defeat, the Greeks heroes slowly made their way home. Helen, whose two successive Trojan husbands were killed during the war, returned to Sparta to reign with Menelaus. After his death, some sources say she was exiled to the island of Rhodes, where a vengeful war widow had her hanged.

Who were the the major players in the war?

Achilles ,Odysseus, Nestor ,and Ajax

Who is Homer?

Homer was an epic poem writer and he was a mastery to many people others believe he was blind in Greek words the name Homer was considered blind. He was often described as "wily".
