Plate Tectonics Vincent Lin

Divergent let the magma out and it will create a mountain or volcano. A divergent boundary occurs when two tectonic plates move away from each other. When two plates come together, it is known as a convergent boundary.trench.There are divergent boundaries, oceanic crust, made of basalt, is created by divergent plate.
These plate move together. is an actively deforming region where two (or more) tectonic plates or fragments of the lithosphere move toward one another and collide. The impact of the two colliding plates buckles the edge of one or both plates up into a rugged mountain range. Powerful earthquakes shake a wide area on both sides of the boundary
Convergent boundary (ocean-continent) is form when a dense plate move down. Normally the older plate will sub duct because of its higher density. When it goes deeper and deeper it get hotter and hotter it became. It goes so deep that it can touch magma or over 200 km deep.
Transform Plate Boundaries are locations where two plates slide past one another. The fracture zone that forms a transform plate boundary is known as a transform fault. Most transform faults are found in the ocean basin and connect offsets in the mid-ocean ridges. A strike-slip fault is a simple offset, however, a transform fault is formed between two different plates, each moving away from the spreading center of a divergent plate boundary.
